Inspired by old world butcher shops and with a focus on offering sustainable local and fresh foods, Big Lou’s Butcher Shop is bringing traditional nose-to-tail butchery to Vancouver. Located in a restored heritage storefront in Railtown, Big Lou’s display cases and deli counters are a tribute to old-style butcher shops with a wide selection of fresh cut meats on offer and deli sandwiches made fresh.

Along with a wide range of fresh, seasonal meats, poultry and game from the outstanding local farms like Polderside, Sloping Hills and Pemberton Meadows, Big Lou’s Butcher Shop will offer a wide range of made in house items like sausages, dressings, cures, marinades and pickled vegetables. Additional services and products will include custom cutting and orders, restaurant meal replacement items like braised short ribs, lamb shanks, pork belly and marinated specialties.
